In a recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the wrestler unknowingly revealed something romantic that he does with his wife. Without targeting the rumors, he showed fans that there was nothing to worry about.

Matt Hardy likes to spend alone time with his wife

The separation rumors concerning the couple started earlier this year when Reby uploaded a TikTok. She further fueled the suspicion by uploading more such content that fans believed pointed towards a separation. Matt Hardy’s social media activity did not help much during the early days of these rumors. But now things seemed to have calmed down.

While talking to Jon Alba on the 116th episode of his podcast, Hardy confessed, “Literally, myself and my wife, which we try and do once, maybe twice a week if we can, we had a date night. Just me and her without kids and we were in Raleigh, we were having a great dinner in Raleigh.”

Matt Hardy revealed that he and his wife try to go out at least once or twice a week without the kids. Spending quality time together is a great way of bonding. So, even if the rumors of their separation were true, the couple seems to be doing fine now.

While talking about the ‘date night’ with his wife, Hardy also revealed how it led to the two visiting Monday Night Raw. This date night that Hardy was talking about on his podcast took place on 18th March. While the two were having dinner in Raleigh, Reby received a call from one of her friends who called her over to a suite they had free. This led to the wrestler’s wife convincing him to join her. Coincidentally, the location was close to the arena where Monday Night Raw was taking place that night.

As a result, a last-minute plan led to Matt Hardy appearing on Raw. This further led the WWE legend to be the highlight everywhere on the internet and fans heavily speculating about his return to the Stamford-based company.
