Just a few days before SummerSlam, Roman Reigns along with Solo Sikoa had badly injured Jimmy Uso. This had him hospitalized so he wouldn’t help his twin during the Tribal Combat. When the SummerSlam match finally arrived, fans got the biggest surprise during the entire run of the main event. Jimmy Uso had returned only to ‘betray’ his brother. This ultimately made him lose the match, meaning Reigns got to retain his title.

Following the betrayal, and The Bloodline that had already been broken apart, Jey Uso couldn’t see another reason to stay back. In a recent SmackDown episode, Uso announced his leave in a segment. The wrestler told the world about how he doesn’t want to return to either SmackDown, The Bloodline, or WWE.

Now to keep up the storyline elements and bring a sense of smoke and mirrors to this whole angle, recent reports state that WWE has updated its ‘alumni’ list and has added Jey Uso’s name there too.

This also means it could be a while before we see Jey Uso again on TV and when he will return he is likely to go up against his twin brother Jimmy Uso.
