On the road to WrestleMania 40, fans are experiencing drama unfolding in very unexpected ways. The return of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to the WWE has added an extra layer to the already intriguing storytelling. In case you missed it, Johnson has sided with his cousin Roman Reigns and is hell-bent on defeating Cody Rhodes.

However, an interesting thing happened last week when Rhodes slapped Johnson and it echoed across the globe. While the whole world is against Johnson at this point, Logan Paul with whom Johnson decided to cut ties all of a sudden expressed his concerns over the slap.

Logan Paul is worried about Dwayne Johnson

On the latest episode of his podcast, Impaulsive The Maverick was discussing Johnson’s latest run on WWE along with his co-host, Mike Majlak, and guest, KSI. While both Paul and Majlak were discussing whether Johnson deserves the status of a full-time wrestler now, KSI was unaware of the ongoing drama.

The current WWE U.S. Champion tried to bring his friend up-to-speed with all the latest drama that has happened. KSI asked, “Wait is he (Dwayne Johnson) getting bi**h slapped by Cody (Rhodes)?” To this, a disappointed Paul replied by saying, “He (Johnson) just got slapped. Cody slapped the sh*t out of him. It looked hard.”

KSI’s immediate follow-up question was whether Johnson retaliated or not. Paul replied again with a hint of sadness, “Well he slapped him first” thus trying to update him with all the drama in a short period.

But the question is, has Logan Paul moved past the difficult time when Johnson decided to cut all ties with him?

The Maverick and Johnsons falling out

Logan Paul is not new to controversies. However, he once got involved in a controversy that involved his trek through a forest in Japan. The incident happened back in 2017 and at that time, he received massive backlash from fans and people all over the globe. By that time, Paul was a famous internet celebrity and had made content with many celebrities including Johnson. The Brahma Bull featured on his page more than once and the two could be considered as close friends. However, everything changed after the infamous video went viral.

During that time, Paul and Johnson shared the same publicist. After the incident, their publicist called him stating that Johnson wanted him to delete every picture and video they had together. While Paul understands he made a huge mistake, he said in an interview that all he wanted was for Johnson to have communicated the same considering the nature of their friendship.
