Heading into the Money in the Bank match, Logan Paul didn’t have much support from the fans. He was an additional participant in the bout and didn’t fight to earn his spot on the ladder match. This may be part of the reason the O2 arena crowd booed him whenever he seemed to gain momentum during the match.
He was unsuccessful in capturing the Money in the bank briefcase as Damian Priest emerged victorious from the match. However, he did gain a lot of the audience’s attention because of his botched move during the bout.

While speaking about the latest episode of his IMPAULSIVE podcast, ‘The Maverick’ addressed his MITB botch. He and Ricochet performed a Spanish Fly from the top rope and landed on the tables kept at ringside. He revealed that his botched move resulted in a very dangerous landing.
He said, “Off the second rope, just hawks a backflip. I’m like, alright! Went crashing through the tables, scraped my shoulder, [and] hit my head on the thing. I’m fine, no concussions or anything but, it’s just a wild sport man. I don’t know what I’m doing.“
Fortunately, he didn’t sustain a severe injury due to the failed maneuver. He claimed to have some scratches and bruises, but no sort of grave damage. In addition, he mentioned that Ricochet was partly responsible for his messed-up move.
Paul blames Ricochet for his botched move.
He stated Ricochet was a little unprofessional while executing the move, as it could have proven to be very dangerous for him. He explained that they were supposed to do the move at the same time from the top rope, keeping one of their legs on the top rope and the others on the ladder.

But when they hit the rope, Ricochet hit it before him, making him slip down to the bottom rope. His legs got all twisted up in the ropes and he lost his balance. Just as he was trying to stabilize himself, Ricochet grabbed him and launched him into the air. This caused both the stars to land awkwardly on the table.
