He called out ‘pretend wrestlers’ in the promotion, who had allegedly been irritated by Paul’s quick rise within the promotion and the authenticity he brings to the table despite his very few appearances.
During a candid conversation with Gabby LaSpisa on her podcast, Gabby AF, The American Nightmare said, ”How good is he, huh? There are some what I call ‘pretend wrestlers’ in all companies, all across the world, and I think he probably irritates them the most because brother is an absolutely stellar professional wrestler. Absolutely stellar.”
Conferring him a new title, Rhodes continued, ‘Greatest rookie year of all time, perhaps. He is blazing forward, so I look forward to what he does. ‘
Like Rhodes, Paul has had many other older veterans back him up. Recently, one legendary WWE veteran came out in support of Paul as a still-green wrestler.
