The WWE Universe was taken off guard by the $21 billion merger of the company with UFC at the start of the month. Sure, there were many potential buyers that were brought up in the discussion but very few expected Endeavor group to be the one. It’s not been a month since the new arrangement and WWE has inked another deal with a live-streaming service.
Vince McMahon may have been announced as the Executive Chairman of WWE, but the Triple H administration has not shied away from reversing his previous decisions. The new partnership with Twitch certainly seems another example of it.

Triple H-headed WWE ink a new deal
As per Fightful Select, the Stamford-based company has reportedly agreed to a deal with Twitch that would allow their contracted talents to appear back on the platform. Any revenue will be split three ways with the majority of shares going to the performers and Twitch.
There will reportedly be minimal restrictions on WWE superstars regarding their appearance on the live-stream service. The only caveat is the appearance of performers of other promotions on their streams. They can do so only after prior approval from the management. Nevertheless, it is safe to say that this looks like a win-win arrangement for both parties.

The roster is said to be quite jubilant by the deal. This is certainly a far cry from 2020 when McMahon banned the use of Twitch and Rodeo as per the third-party app policy for WWE talents.
Vince McMahon’s decision to ban Twitch in 2020 for WWE superstars led to many accounts being shut
The former creative head’s decision prevented contracted performers from appearing on the streaming platform. The move caused a massive uproar amongst the talents back then. Many superstars who were with WWE at the time had to shut down their Twitch accounts and issued statements as well. Among them were now AEW-signed names like Cesaro aka Claudio Castagnoli and Aleister Black aka Malakai Black. ‘The Phenomenal’ AJ Styles also announced he would be stepping away from the platform.

Mia Yim canceled her stream with Jessamyn Duke as well. The new deal paved the way for WWE superstars to again stream freely on Twitch. With little to no restrictions, the new arrangement seems to take care of all. Triple H at the helm of the company has been the flagbearer of changes in many aspects. And this new arrangement is another shining example of making their employees a happier bunch.
