After Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 main event, he unified the two top titles. But it led to more troubles for WWE as the WWE titles were barely present or defended on shows due to Roman Reigns’ part-time schedule. After some dissension from fans, Triple H finally solved this issue by introducing a new title for the RAW brand.

After becoming the first Champion of the new title, Seth Freakin Rollins resolved the pain points of WWE fans. He has not only made fans happy but the whole WWE management as reflected by his ratings and WWE’s live audience numbers.

WWE management is happy with Seth Rollins’ work as Champion

Seth Rollins beat AJ Styles at Night of Champions to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Since then Rollins has defended his title regularly and provided fans with a world champion who is up for a challenge all the time unlike the world champion on SmackDown, Roman Reigns.

According to WWE insider BWE, “WWE Management are happy with Seth Rollins’ reign as Champion due to the good numbers he pulls and amount of tickets he’s sold (BWE). #WWERaw”. It was a reference to Seth Rollins’ contribution as the World Champion who is defending his title regularly on free TV.

As per the data collected from WrestleTix and Cagematch.net, WWE has recorded a total of 1.8 million live audiences. Interestingly, the top 8 wrestling promotions in Japan and AEW have recorded a combined audience of 1.2 million during the same period (Oct 22-Sep 23). Nearly 50% of this is recorded by AEW alone.

Seth Rollins’s rigorous efforts and contribution to WWE have helped him topple a part-time Roman Reigns as the top wrestler in the world. Pro-Wrestling Illustrated released their rankings for the year 2023 in September and Rollins ranked 1st. He is followed by Tribal Chief Roman Reigns at second and fellow former Shield-mate Jon Moxley at third. As Rollins is riding high, he will look to navigate yet another challenge from Shinsuke Nakamura.

Shinsuke Nakamura is looking to exploit Seth Rollins’ back

As a result of his hard work his back has suffered the pain, which his new nemesis Shinsuke Nakamura is looking forward to exploiting. They will face each other at Fastlane on October 7th at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The two superstars collided at Payback for the World Heavyweight Championship, with Rollins securing the win but Nakamura continued his quest for the title. Now, Nakamura has exploited Rollins’ back over the past few weeks with repeated attacks. Hence, the two superstars will face each other in a Last-Man-Standing match.
