WWE has received a lot of criticism for not giving their female starlets the amount of respect they deserve. Thousands of incidents of sidelining female stars, in terms of booking and paycheck, have marred women’s wrestling history. The instances of misogyny and backstage harassment further put the authorities to shame. Hall of Famer Ric Flair recently drew attention to the treatment of female stars during his time in the WWE.
Recently, the treatment of female talent has made headlines after the Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus match didn’t get a spot at SummerSlam. Amid the existing controversy, Hall of Famer Ric Flair added fuel to the fire, confirming the poor handling of women by WWE during his heyday.

Ric Flair slammed Vince McMahon’s WWE for mistreating female talents
Being a smooth womanizer, Flair hasn’t had a great record with women in his life. The Tennessee native married and divorced several times. Aside from that, the veteran once infamously claimed that he slept with 10,000 women throughout his life.
Despite all that, Flair seems to be pretty sensitive when it comes to dealing with fellow WWE female superstars. He got seriously disheartened at WWE not being nice to most of the women on the roster during his time in the promotion.
During his latest appearance in an interview with Theo Von, ‘The Nature Boy’ made a bombshell revelation. Without sugarcoating the hard truth, the WWE faithful noted, ”I saw lady wrestlers in the old days but it’s a totally different thing and they were badly managed and mistreated”
‘That’s why anything I could do to help them transportation wise or buy them drinks and food or that,” the veteran said, reflecting on what he did to make up for the unfortunate situation.
Months before the women’s card controversy at SummerSlam pushed fans to flock to social media and blast WWE, former superstar Victoria exposed the brutal reality of WWE.
Former WWE star Victoria faced ill-treatment during her return to the promotion
Victoria used to be one of the lofty stars in the WWE women’s division in the early 2000s. Although she couldn’t claim the topmost spot, her athletic physique and praiseworthy in-ring antics helped her in cementing a firm place in the promotion.
After being on a long hiatus since 2009, the phenomenal star made a triumphant return for her one-off performance at the Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2021. That said, her semi-return left her with a sour taste in her mouth.
The veteran recently chimed in about a bitter experience in her old wrestling home. Victoria claimed some people in the promotion didn’t treat her like a human upon her latest return.
