LA Knight prefers lifting over other things and loves to maintain a well-defined split while working out. The bodybuilding student makes full use of his expertise to get maximum gains out of all his movements and rest periods.

  • Barbell, incline, and hammer curls – LA Knight adjusts his form and angle to get his entire muscle to feel the stretch during the warmup. The 40-year-old chooses mobility and technique over intensity to get his blood pumping and ready for the heavier sets that will follow. Knight also chooses to maximize his output by following the principle of active recovery. Here, he allows one of his arms to relax while working the other one.


  • Skull crushers, dips, tricep workout – Knight prefers a perfectly aligned angle between the elbows and the knees while skull crushing. Additionally, he goes a little extra slow on the Smith machine to churn his muscles with a little extra tension while performing seated dips. For the triceps, Knight always goes for maximum contraction and stretches to feel a good burn while working out. This makes his triceps visibly pop and stand out.

  • Stretching – “The Megastar” previously used to skip out on working his hip area. However, this bit him with mobility restrictions inside the ring. Now, the 40-year-old takes good care of the muscles around his pelvis, which have yielded phenomenal mobility results.

  • Hip thrusts, lying leg curls – The WWE star follows the training guidance of Classic Physique Olympias Wesley Vissers and Terrence Ruffin. According to them, weak muscles receive training before other muscle groups. As for Knight, he believes his hamstrings are his weakest link, hence he trains them first.


  • Leg presses – WLA Knight also believes in the philosophy of leg pressing till you cannot. However, he disagrees with pressing more than one’s capability and risking joint health. Instead, the bodybuilding student recommends pressing a comfortable weight hard enough times to feel the rush in one’s legs.


  • Belted pit shark squats – LA Knight prefers to squeeze in as many inches as he can while sinking into pit shark squats. The 40-year-old recommends using a pit shark machine if available for the perfect form for the exercise. But what about the food he eats?

 

LA Knight’s mysterious food habits and his wife’s bodybuilding journey 

While Sheamus could get almost all his workout tips, he failed to get anything out of his mouth regarding his diet. Several years ago, when Knight worked with former WWE star Mr. Kennedy, his brain spiraled into deep thought when Kennedy’s wife offered him some food. 

Recalling the incident in an interview, Mr. Kennedy said, “It was like chicken breasts and steaks and vegetables and some rice or something like that, right? She offered him like, ‘Would you like some chicken breasts.’” Despite the chicken breast being optimized for a pro wrestler, Knight just didn’t go for it. Just like his unlimited charm, his food habits are also a secret.

While LA Knight maintains a perfect shape, so does his better half, Michelle Yavulla. Just like her partner, Yavulla also belongs to the discipline of bodybuilding. Back in the day, Yavulla participated in several bodybuilding competitions. In fact, she secured fifth place in the 2016 Baltimore Gladiator contest and finished third the following year in 2017. 

Yavulla is currently a thriving fitness enthusiast and has countless gym pictures and videos on her Instagram page. The couple take good care of each other, as well as their bodies, and maintain top shape no matter what.
