Fans are worried as Fastlane is just 1 week away and John Cena still doesn’t have a tag team partner to face The Bloodline. AJ Styles was his initial partner but he was attacked backstage and taken to the hospital last week. Reports had suggested that LA Knight was supposed to take his place. However, he contracted Covid-19, which has thrown a wrench into the plans. But news has emerged that LA Knight will return to SmackDown tonight.

This makes Fastlane even more exciting and fans can’t wait for SmackDown tonight.

LA Knight will return to SmackDown and do what was planned last week

Last week’s SmackDown started with lots of excitement as John Cena and AJ Styles challenged The Bloodline. But by the end of the night, fans were petrified as AJ Styles was viciously attacked backstage and was rushed to the hospital. Apparently, this was all part of the storyline. LA Knight was later supposed to pop up and assist Cena in taking on The Bloodline.

But sadly he was tested positive for Covid just a few hours before the show and had to immediately leave the building. This put WWE in a state of limbo as they never knew who would take Knight’s place at Fastlane. But their prayers were heard and Knight has fully recovered and will be making a return tonight on SmackDown.

This means that everything is going to go just as planned last week, just with some delay. This news was confirmed by PWInsider who said that LA Knight is expected to return to SmackDown in Sacramento, CA. SmackDown will be taking place at the Golden 1 Center, which has a capacity of 17,000.

Fans are going to lose their minds as they hear LA Knight’s music when Cena is confronting The Bloodline. This also opens so many future possibilities for Knight as a feud with The Bloodline gets him closer to a title shot against Roman Reigns.

And this all seems to be happening at the right time as Roman Reigns is all set to return to the WWE.

Roman Reigns will be defending his title against Sami Zayn on 14th October

Roman Reigns’ last title match was against Jey Uso at SummerSlam. Post that he has been on vacation and will be returning to the WWE next month.

It has been advertised that Reigns will be defending his title against Ex-Bloodline member Sami Zayn. This bout will take place on 14th October at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.

The capacity crowd of 18,000 will be hoping that Zayn finally ends The Tribal Chief’s title reign, but only time will tell.
