On the eve of the Royal Rumble, WWE’s blue brand pulled out a jaw-dropping Friday night from Miami’s Kaseya Center. The final pre-Rumble showdown featuring all the latest builds to the PLE had to be a special call. From a new Smackdown debut to a massive title change in the brand, every bit of tonight’s extravaganza activated adrenaline.

The Go Home show came live with Michael Cole welcoming us to a new SmackDown night. The Kabuki Warriors, Kayden Carter, and Katana Chance showed up. We also spotted The Bloodline’s warriors including Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, and Paul Heyman backstage, passively hyping up Roman Reigns’ potential appearance tonight.

The opening segment

Eladio Carrion, the renowned musician loomed in out of the blue to put The Viper on a pedestal via a song. The crowd went gaga over him and Randy Orton posing in style before the latter boasted about his potential to be the 15the time WWE champion, dethroning the unfathomable legacy of The Bloodline.

Shortly after, AJ Styles made a savage entry, threatening Orton with payback for his past week’s hit on him. He blamed LA Knight for taking his shot against Solo Sikoa tonight and before he could finish his ranting, The Megastar came out to a huge pop. The fan-favorite continued to live up to his high-flying mic skill, lambasting Solo Sikoa, and all his Royal Rumble contenders hard.

Styles hit a Superkick and laid Orton out with a Pele kick.

Santos Escobar vs. Carlito

Winner:Santos Escobar

After the fiery segment came to an end, we saw the Santos Escobar vs. Carlito drama panning out in full swing. The two men straightaway got into fighting wasting zero time beating around the bush. After a lot of attacks and counterattacks, Escobar got the upper hand by pinfall with a folding press. However, the match turned into chaos later on leading to a fight between Legado and the LWO.

Elektra Lopez showed up to equalize Zelina Vega and seems to be a main roster act from now on.

Backstage segments:

In a backstage segment, AJ Styles ignored Jimmy Uso’s proposal to tackle LA Knight together just before Good Brothers and Mia Yim rolled up and inquired about the matter. Retaining the air of tension, Styles asked them not to worry.

NXT general manager Ava Raine showed up for the first time on the blue brand and garnered congratulations for embarking on a new journey as the youngest GM in WWE history from none other than Nick Aldis.

Bobby Lashley and the Pride geared up to pick up their Rumble mojo engaging in a brief showdown with Santos Escobar and Legado del Fantasma.

The Kabuki Warriors Vs Kayden Carter-Katana Chance

A WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles match was next on the platter. The Kabuki Warriors and Kayden Carter-Katana Chance put on a formidable show. After going back and forth for some time, Asuka and Kairi launched a reverse DDT and crazy Elbow combination for the win and boom! New champions are here!

Austin Theory vs Carmelo Hayes

Winner: Austin Theory

After a lit Bobby Lashley segment, we moved to the Austin Theory vs Carmelo Hayes brawl. Theory managed to get the victory via pinfall with an O’Connor roll and a handful of tights.

Post-match, Theory, and Grayson Waller go to take Hayes down, though Trick Willams made the save.

LA Knight vs Solo Sikoa

winner: LA Knight

The incredible LA Knight vs Solo Sikoa was on play next. Delivering an impressive showdown, Knight kept his promise to take Sikoa out. Post the match, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and Jimmy Uso intervened, which led to a chaotic RKO-dominated drama.
