Dwayne Johnson has successfully managed to siphon the attention of the entire world to WWE right now. The Rock has instantly turned into one of the biggest and the most hated heels of all time in the world of pro wrestling. But, while the new big heel greeted babyface Cody Rhodes with a slap, his relations with another babyface, LA Knight, aren’t filled with animosity so far.
LA Knight is also a direct rival of Roman Reigns and has been after his WWE Universal Championship since Day 1. While Dwayne Johnson is siding hard with The Tribal Chief right now, his interaction with Knight was rather very positive. In fact, despite aiming for Reigns’ belt, The Rock even greeted the fan-favorite wrestler with a friendly gesture.

LA Knight recently appeared at a pro wrestling podcast named “In The Kliq”. The podcast saw Knight talk about several topics, one of which was about Dwayne Johnson. The 40-year-old noted that he had met the Rock at a WWE show in Colorado several months ago.
According to LA Knight, “A little bit here and there when he popped up at SmackDown back in Denver a few months ago, which was kind of the bro handshake and hug and, ‘Hey man, I haven’t seen you in a while; you’re kicking ass’ and all that kind of stuff.” The WWE Superstar noted that the meeting was very brief.
LA Knight said, “Nothing long form, and it was kind of when he was straight on his way to the ring, so it was one of those quick, ‘Hey, and I’ve got to get on my way’ kind of things.” Knight was also asked about his opinion on the sudden involvement of Dwayne Johnson in WrestleMania 40.
Interestingly, he gave a very LA Knight answer to the question.
What does LA Knight think of the current Dwayne Johnson storm in WWE?
Commenting on The Rock interfering with WrestleMania 40, LA Knight said, “He’s going to bring attention to what we’re doing. At the same time, it doesn’t make a bunch of difference to me whether it’s him, Roman Reigns, or Cody Rhodes, or anybody else; if anybody’s holding that championship then I’m gunning for them.” Thus, at the end of the day, the only side Knight picked was his own.

LA Knight had once appeared in a reality show named ‘The Hero’ in 2013. Interestingly, Dwayne Johnson hosted that show, and this was one of Knight’s first attempts to come into pro wrestling. The show had a task where one of the participants was obscured and said something while the others had to guess who it was.
Surprisingly, every time LA Knight spoke something in obscurity, everyone would think that Dwyane Johnson was messing with them. When they found out it was Knight, he was praised for his impression of The Rock.

Knight said he wasn’t doing any impressions and was just speaking normally. What are your thoughts on this? Let them flow in the comments.
