In the current age of the internet, it’s becoming more difficult day by day to pick the legit news and steer clear of the fake ones. It turns out to be even more severe when it comes to the entertainment-based sport WWE.

Speculation up to a certain limit adds flavor to any sport. But on the flip side, it becomes dangerous when it crosses certain boundaries, something that happened regarding ECW legend Sabu’s recent medical emergency.

Sabu, originally named Terry Bank, was a hardcore wrestler of the 90s era. The 39-year-old former ECW champion made his name in the world of pro wrestling performing under several top promotions in the world. Also, he had his footprint in the WWE ring too, but it was his ECW run that fans largely remember. Sabu is currently aligned with the independent circles and makes appearances at several autograph events.

Kevin Nash addressed the rumors regarding Sabu’s health

On the second day of the squared circle Expo, the star had to be taken to hospital for an unknown health complication and couldn’t appear in the event.

A week later of that incident, Kevin Nash revealed how some fans rapidly spread fake news at that time regarding Sabu’s health. Speaking on his podcast, Kliq This, Nash noted, ”Man, I heard like a word is like wildfire on the internet is one thing at a wrestling convention! I mean you don’t walk in the lobby and not have 11 people but just everybody wants to spread hot news and they want you to think that they’re like they want to be the first to give you the hot news so you’ll think they’re a source.”

”So I had 93 people tell me if I can just took Sabo out he had a stroke. It looked bad they were as I said, we did you see the paramedics? Were they feverishly working on him or was it a put him on a stretcher and take him to the ambulance? Well, Didn’t see that part? What do you mean by it? It was, you know, as much as I know, like shut the ***k up. ” the former WWE star added.

However, much to the fans’ comfort, Sabu is currently doing fine health-wise.

Sabu is currently out of his physical hazards

A few hours after his hospitalization, the former WWE star calmed his fans down by providing a relaxing update on his health. The two-time ECW champion wrote on Twitter, “Hello everyone I am doing better and thank you for your well wishes ☝️,”

While the proper reason behind his hospitalization is still unknown, the update dismissed all the rumors for good.

The wrestling veteran had his brief run in the Stamford-based company from 2006 to 2007 and wrestled in several big events, including WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series. He had the chance to wrestle with legendary WWE stars like John Cena, Rey Mysterio, and a few others, but he is largely remembered for his ECW run.
