One of the most talented wrestlers in the industry, Jeff Hardy found his way to the top through several years of hard work and pain. However, as he soared to the top, his inner demons took over him, and Hardy found himself often in trouble.

Hardy left WWE in 2022 and joined AEW. However, soon after joining Tony Khan’s promotion, he would again fall victim to his antics, and get written off television. They would send Hardy off from TV and check him into rehab. However, as Hardy recently returned clean and sober from his recent rehab visit to AEW, he was slated to face the axe again.

Despite being clean and sober, why is Jeff Hardy being written off the TV from AEW?

His recent visit to rehab saw Jeff Hardy turn his life around. Hardy would get clean and sober while trying to fix every wrong that he did in the past few years. Jeff Hardy always has had an addiction problem, and it stood as a barrier between him reaching major heights in his career.

However, as he returned sober from his latest rehab visit, AEW was forced to write him off TV once again. It was reported by Fightful Select that AEW would tour Canada, and Jeff Hardy could not visit the country, as a result of his past altercations with the law.

Throughout his career, Jeff Hardy has faced several arrests, and recently almost escaped prison time. After several such incidents, Hardy was able to understand his wrongdoings and took a step forward to improve his life.

Now that he has improved his lifestyle, and is leading a better life, his past still comes back to haunt him. His previous arrests and record with the law, now stand as a barrier again. As AEW starts its tour of Canada, Jeff Hardy is now compelled to sit back home. And witness his peers fight in the ring.

While in rehab, has Jeff Hardy improved his lifestyle and mended his ways?

A few months ago, Jeff Hardy hit the lowest point in his career. He faced charges involving DUI. Hardy’s driving license was canceled was 10 years. And an inter-lock device was placed on his vehicle. He also had to incur a fine, and probation for 2 years.

However, soon after that, his brother Matt Hardy revealed in his podcast how Jeff Hardy would visit the rehab center, and check himself in, to improve his life. Matt Hardy revealed how Jeff Hardy did around 170 days of rehab and was doing much better than before. Hardy defeated his inner demons and got past them, and is now leading a much better lifestyle, healthy and sober.
