After the gruesome fight between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre, The Visionary emerged triumphant as he defended his title against the Scottish Psychopath. In the aftermath, fans saw Damian Priest attempting to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase at Crown Jewel. However, his plans were foiled by none other than Sami Zayn, who ambushed him and ran away with his briefcase. Now he might have revealed his true intentions behind such a surprising action.

Is Sami Zayn facing off against Seth Rollins?

On the 11/5 episode of Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins was addressing the crowd in attendance and thanked two people for his victory. One was Drew McIntyre for putting up a good fight and Sami Zayn for thwarting Damian Priest’s plans. Rollins then called Zayn to celebrate with him. After a brief discussion, it was decided that the stars will fight with thentitle on the line.

But Seth Rollins said that Zayn does not need the Money in the Bank contract. As long as he is the champion, Zayn can have his shot anytime. Following that, Seth Rollins told him that he would give Zayn a chance whenever he desired to have it.

Zayn who at first said he did not want to fight a compromised champion as Rollins is dealing with back issues. However, he then agreed to have his shot at the very episode that night. The two agreed and decided to see each other at the end of the evening.

It might sound as if Sami Zayn has been desperate for the title and therefore stole the briefcase. But he explained to Rollins that this is not the case.

Sami Zayn’s real motivation behind stealing the briefcase

On the 10/30 episode of Raw, Sami Zayn decided to have a word with Judgment Day’s Rhea Ripley. He said that he is not going to bend to the heel faction and will fight back. Zayn also added that he will soon change the notion of the stable running Monday Night Raw. He also openly declared that for this goal he was ready to take on all the members of the stable and started off with JD McDonagh. After defeating him at the Crown Jewel, he appeared when Damian Priest was about to cash in the briefcase after Seth Rollins successfully defended his title. What happened next was one of the most talked about incidences.

But it looks like Zayn is a man on a mission. His real interest was not in the title in the first place but in defeating Judgment Day. He said that if Priest had cashed in the briefcase and won, another title would have been added to the faction. This would have made them even more powerful and he does not want another Bloodline. This was followed by Rollins convincing him that if he wanted to become powerful, he could still have a shot at his title and thus the match was finalized. But unfortunately, he lost and Rollins once again defended his title. After this defeat, what do you think is in store for Sami Zayn?
