Judgment Day Member Announces Himself as the “Leader” of the Faction in the Absence of Rhea Ripley on WWE Raw

The Judgment Day faction had reiterated time and time again to the WWE Universe about the fact that they do not have a leader. Even though many might consider Rhea Ripley as the leader of the faction, it was Mami who declared that everybody has an equally important role. However, with Mami’s absence in the opening segment of Raw, another Judgment Day member declared himself as the faction’s new leader.

Did Damian Priest dethrone Rhea Ripley?

On the 11/13 episode of Raw, Damian Priest declared himself as the leader of the stable. Cody Rhodes kicked the show off. The American Nightmare introduced his team ahead of the Survivor Series. However, The Judgment Day soon interrupted the occasion. But fans quickly noticed that Rhea Ripley did not make an appearance.

As the heel faction and the faces went back and forth for a while. Cody Rhodes then asked how all four managed to make it to the ring without Mami’s guidance. Following this, Rhodes asked who took charge of the faction in the absence of Ripley. Just when Rhodes asked whether it was Dominik Mysterio or JD McDonagh, Priest interrupted, and confirmed that he assumed the leadership position.

Whilst many might feel that only Rhea Ripley has proven her credentials in the role, even Mami agreed with Priest’s statement later.

Mami thinks Damian Priest is capable

After Nia Jax had returned to Monday Night Raw, she attacked both Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez on the September 11 episode of the show. Following this, they both went off-air due to scripted injuries acquired by Jax’s attacks. This meant that Judgment Day could not call upon the services of Rhea Ripley. During this time, Dominik Mysterio had his championship title defense against Dragon Lee and Trick Williams on two different occasions. After successfully defeating Dragon Lee, Mysterio could not defeat Trick Williams and lost his title.

After Mami returned, she decided to have a word with both of them. She said that even though no one here is a leader, someone always has to come up with a contingency plan. And she thought that in her absence, Priest would be the one to do that. But Priest was not present at the ringside to help Mysterio during his battles. This made Ripley angry, as she thought that he was someone who was capable enough of making such big decisions. However, over time Priest redeemed himself in the eyes of The Eradicator with her insisting Priest to lead the team at Wargames. How do you think things will turn out under Preist’s leadership?
