For the last two years, John Cena is fully focused on his Hollywood career and is spending less time in the ring. The last appearance he made was at WrestleMania 39 earlier this year in a match against Austin Theory. However, as he completed 21 years in WWE recently, fans hoped he’ll make a short appearance at an upcoming show. Sadly, that one beacon of hope might be lost after the 16-time world champion’s recent Instagram post.

It seems things will not go the way the WWE fans expected, i.e. a Cena return at Money in the Bank. The WWE universe would have loved to celebrate their hero’s 21st year with the company.

Before diving deep into John Cena’s crushing hopes of his fans, let us acknowledge he is in London filming his new movie. A recent viral photo is proof he was in the city where Money in the Bank will take place on July 1st, 2023.

However, his recent Instagram post suggests something different. Yes, the WWE universe might’ve again fallen victim to Cena’s Instagram.

‘The Cenation Leader’ shared a picture of an airplane on his Instagram just hours ago. Surprisingly, it’s not another aircraft as the photo has the air carrier called ‘Air Force One’. It is the Presidential Boeing 747, and the aircraft is used to carry the president of the United States.

There is no indication why the WWE legend shared a picture of the president’s airplane. There are only two outcomes i.e. he is coming back to the USA before Money in the Bank PLE or he is soon going to meet the president of the United States.

Nevertheless, there is no news of Cena meeting the president of the USA. Hence, he might be returning to his home country. If this is the case, WWE fans will surely be sad, as they expected Cena to be at the PLE in London on his 21st anniversary with the company.
