John Cena has been the most recognizable face of WWE for more than 20 years now. Making his WWE debut in 2002, The Champ instantly made a strong impression on the people. Moreover, he almost always secured the main event matches, eventually winning several championship belts as well. WrestleFeatures recently broke a new piece of news on X, claiming Cena has overtaken Hogan in terms of win rate percentage.

The tweet carried the caption, “John Cena has now had 2228 matches in @WWE The WWE legend has a win percentage of almost 80%. #SmackDown.” This shows how heavily WWE pushed Cena, especially during his time at the top in WWE. In comparison, The Hulkster only has a win percentage of 74 percent, which further asserts WWE’s notion that Cena is the “greatest of all time”.

Both Cena and Hulk Hogan have enjoyed impressively long careers and have always been the center of everyone’s attention. Cena and Hogan were the biggest babyfaces in WWE with their characters mirroring each other.

Maintaining a win rate of almost 80 percent in overall matches is a gigantic achievement in itself. However, John Cena has achieved far more than just a higher winning margin. The Champ has adorned his shoulders with the WWE World Championship a record 16 times. Apart from that he is also a former two-time Royal Rumble winner and has headlined WrestleMania multiple times. Despite these accolades, Cena has been on an abysmal recent singles run in WWE.
