John Cena Proves Why He Is the GOAT With Sweet Gesture During Commercial Break on WWE NXT 10/10

WWE legend John Cena made a special appearance on NXT after the pub rules match. In his first appearance on the show, he proved again and again why he is considered the GOAT. Initially he was expected to appear by the side of former NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, but WWE gave us more of Cena that expected.

He first appeared in a segment after arriving at NXT to address the live crowd. During the segment, he did not hesitate to use his wits to his advantage. But it was his sweet gesture that went unseen on live TV that stole the crowd’s heart.

John Cena makes the best use of every second at NXT

Last week on NXT, Carmelo Hayes was confronted by former NXT Champion Bron Breakker. Breakker persisted that he symphatizes with Hayes for losing NXT Championship, but requested Hayes to turn heel like him. Instead of taking in Bron Breakker’s advice, Hayes requested management for a match against Breakker. He also revealed that accompanying him in the match will be the GOAT John Cena.

As promised, John Cena showed up for the October 10th show of NXT. While his first appearance received a warm welcome from the NXT crowd, he showed great ring awareness to make the best use of the time. During a commercial break during the main event match, he jumped over the rails separating the ring and the crowd to take as many selfies as possible.

Cena was present during the match to support Carmelo Hayes while Paul Heyman accompanied Bron Breakker. In the end, Cena was taken backstage due to an interference from Solo Sikoa. That was Cena’s last moment in a show that featured a star-studded line-up for the night.

But before he left the show, he entertained the crowd with his presence. As expected, he was sleek on the mic with his witty presence. Bron Breakker was not the only one to receive Cena’s sly remarks during a segment. 

John Cena replies gracefully to an ungrateful fan at NXT

When Cena made his entrance to the ring, he received a heartwarming response from the NXT crowd. While everybody was cheering for Cena, one fan dissed him with “Cena su**s” chants.

However, Cena handled it like a champ. He replied gracefully to the chant by saying, “Honesty is a core value of mine, and I got tons of respect for that. Gratitude is also a core value of mine. Thank YOU!” He then continued with the segment as planned and praised the crowd.
