In the world of WWE, legendary 16-time world champion John Cena has always been a master of surprises and suspense. Over the years, he’s delighted fans with his in-ring prowess and offbeat charisma. But he’s also earned a reputation for delivering cryptic messages on his Instagram that keep the wrestling community on the edge of their seats. 

Recently, Cena again stirred the WWE universe by dropping a major hint. It can suggest that his current WWE run might extend far beyond what anyone had anticipated. 

Cena’s Instagram enigma and a message of continuity?

Since his WWE comeback, Cena has taken on various roles within the organization, including hosting the Payback PLE and serving as a special guest referee. He even formed an alliance with LA Knight, culminating in a victorious tag team effort at Fastlane. Cena made a long-awaited return to WWE programming in September. It is amid the ongoing strikes within the Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA actors‘ union. Many expect him to return to Hollywood soon now that the strike is nearing its end, but he recently posted a telling Instagram photo hinting at a prolonged stay.

The image featured a scene from “The Wolf of Wall Street,” where Leonardo DiCaprio’s character passionately declares, “I’m not leaving!” This cryptic post comes as Cena’s wrestling career has seen a resurgence following his Hollywood pursuits. It could mean an extended run with WWE although he was only scheduled to be with the company till next week’s SmackDown.

Cena’s future in WWE beyond that date is uncertain. Still, his Instagram post has ignited speculation that he might be planning to stay with WWE for a while, especially given the ongoing actors’ strike.

On a recent SmackDown episode, Cena addressed retirement rumors, acknowledging his lengthy winless streak.

The episode happened on 20th October 2023. Instead of using it as an excuse to leave, he challenged any member of the locker room to step up and face him. Surprisingly he did get a reply from a member of The Bloodline. 

Bloodline member takes up Cena’s challenge at WWE Crown Jewel?

John Cena addressed his extended dry spell without a singles win during his recent WWE appearance at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio. The fans were left wondering if the wrestling icon was contemplating retirement. 

With a staggering 2002 days since his last singles televised victory, the speculation seemed warranted. However, in a twist of events, Cena threw down an open challenge, prompting a swift response from a member of The Bloodline.

Solo Sikoa, showing no hesitation, stepped up to accept Cena’s challenge, setting the stage for a potentially epic showdown at Crown Jewel. As they squared off in the ring, it evoked memories of the classic confrontations between Sikoa’s uncle, Umaga, and John Cena in the 2000s. 

What followed was a heated exchange between the two powerhouses, with Jimmy Uso joining the fray to back his brother.
