WWE holds its shows all over the United States and beyond. For this reason, the WWE superstars are constantly traveling all across the country. The 16-time World Champion, John Cena, was a full-time wrestler in WWE for a decade before he shifted to being a part-timer. Over the ten years, he constantly was on the road because of his work.

When you spend such a long time with a person, you are bound to develop a special bond with them. The same was the case with Cena. He and his ship’s captain/ driver had grown really close to each other.

Sadly, his special friend passed away in January 2022, which left the wrestling veteran disheartened. Recently, The Leader of the Cenation remembered his old friend and shared how much significance his driver had in his life.

The Doctor of Thuganomics mentioned that for ten years he traveled on two WWE tour buses. The first one lasted for 5 years and the second one lasted for another five. And his driver, Bullington, designed both of his tour buses. He wanted his driver to feel comfortable riding with him.

He said, “God rest his soul, my diver and ship’s captain, Ronnie Bullington. I would always have him like, “Hey man, do whatever you want. I want you comfortable in there.” That means I’m gonna get there safe, and he designed both of them. R.I.P Ronnie.”

Recalling another incident, Cena mentioned how Bullington once helped him reach his New York show destination despite being the roads blocked because of heavy snowfall. The latter had made up his mind to prevent his friend from missing his show event, so he made sure that it didn’t happen. Getting WWE’s biggest star to attend a show despite heavy odds show how crucial Bullington was in Cena’s career in WWE at certain points.

Well, that was not the only thing he mentioned about his past life in WWE. He also gave a glimpse of how the new WWE is better than the old WWE in terms of employee treatment.
