In the early days of September 2023, John Cena made his long-awaited return to his home ground on WWE. As soon as he entered the scene, he was pitted against The Bloodline. This eventually gave rise to his rivalry with not only Roman Reigns but also Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. And now, these two brothers from the heel faction made sure that they stick to the storyline given to them by WWE, even outside the ring.

Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso’s hatred for John Cena

Recently, a clip was shared on social media in which the two real-life brothers Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa could be seen avoiding a fan. The fans asked the two to click a picture with them while outside of what might be the promotion’s performance center in Orlando. To this, Jucey flatly rejected him. Upon being asked the reason, he said, “You got the wrong shirt”. The fan was wearing John Cena merchandise including the signature hat and t-shirt.

Jimmy Uso and Sikoa could be seen subtly smiling, so it can be assumed that there were no ill intentions behind denying the fan a picture. It was as if the two stars had just decided to play along with what WWE gave them. The two brothers first encountered John Cena when the Hollywood star made his appearance on The Grayson Waller Effect, a talk show hosted by Waller on SmackDown. There, the two ambushed him, which gave birth to their rivalry.

The ambush was the catalyst to a long and deadly rivalry between John Cena and The Bloodline. Following that, it was decided he would face the two with AJ Styles by his side at Fastlane. However, AJ Styles was attacked by the two even before he could sign the Fastlane contract. LA Knight came in to fill in The Lone Wolf’s spot and eventually secured the win alongside Cena on Fastlane.

However, things took a pretty drastic turn for John Cena. A fate that fans never thought John Cena would have to face.

John Cena suffers a low blow

Ahead of Crown Jewel, it was decided that John Cena will be going toe-to-toe against The Bloodline’s enforcer Solo Sikoa at the PLE. In an episode of SmackDown a couple of weeks before the event, The Leader of The Cenation was addressing the crowd, explaining to them how important it was for him to win this bout. As he was talking to the crowd, Paul Heyman entered the ring. First, he took to complimenting Cena for being a real-life superhero and selling out SmackDown venues for the last two decades. But he quickly changed tone when he said he should not have meddled in the business of the heel faction.

He also added that the 47-year-old star would lose at Crown Jewel and, in Heyman’s own words, “And this is not a prediction, it is a spoiler”. It looks like The Wiseman did indeed spoil the match results for the fans. John Cena was left destroyed by Solo Sikoa at last week’s Crown Jewel.

The 30-year-old star attacked Cena with almost a dozen Samoan Spikes before pinning him for the count of three. Following this, Cena was left completely devastated and sat in the ring for a couple of minutes contemplating his loss. Even though it had to be one of the most heated rivalries, do you think the hate between the stars is real?
