The holiday season is fast approaching and with it, WWE has decided to reminisce about memories from the late 90s. Not missing out on the fun, WWE’s Jey Uso also joined in and looked back at a Christmas memory that is surprisingly not his.

There was a problem with the certain section of memory he was made to visit. A social media post showed Jey Uso attending a big WWE event when “Stone Cold” Steve Austin had the floor. Surprised by this, however, Jey took the opportunity to trash a prevalent WWE myth.

WWE recently shared a post on its official Instagram page showcasing a vintage clip supposedly showing a young Jey Uso. The post was captioned, “Did a young @uceyjucey meet Santa on #WWERaw in 1997? We figured out the truth!” The video showed the Uso twin answering a question with an interview, where he spoke about the actual person who met Stone Cold back on that fateful day.

The video captured a kid in the WWE ring along with Santa Claus. The interviewer asked Uso about the segment, to which he responded, Nah, man, that wasn’t me, Uce. It was 1997 with Stone Cold, right? That wasn’t Solo either! Or Jimmy.” Jey’s words instantly ruled out the possibility of the kid being an active Samoan WWE wrestler.

Jey Uso further added, “That’s our other brother, Jeremiah. He’s not a wrestler but loves wrestling the way we do. And I was so jealous they picked him to go out there. But yeah, it’s not me, Uce.” With this, Jey finally dispelled an online myth circulating the circles of the WWE Universe.

CM Punk recently made appearances on all three brands of WWE after his storied return nearly 10 years later. However, now that he has finally declared his siding with Raw, he will fight for the red brand. While Seth Rollins is clearly one of his first hurdles at Raw, he has already skipped over Jey Uso.

WWE recently updated the official posters of Raw and SmackDown on its website. While it has added CM Punk to the array of superstars on display, Jey Uso has been snubbed and removed from the graphic.
