The season premiere of the SmackDown show this week will feature the return of The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. But he isn’t the only big return announced for this week as WWE Creative Head Triple H will also return to SmackDown.

As the man in power with almost 99.9% creative control in WWE, there are speculations that he will make some major announcements on SmackDown. What could these announcements be?

Triple H to make his first in-ring appearance since TKO this week

It will be his first appearance since he became the Creative Head after TKO Group Holdings was formed, though he had a backstage moment at Fastlane. But, Triple H will be coming with some big news. Let us explore some of those probable announcements.

1. Tag-Team Title splits: Since The Usos unified the title at WrestleMania 38, they carried the title for almost a year till WrestleMania 39. For the last 18 months, only four teams have held the title. Hence, it would be a good idea if Triple H could split the title again to make the tag-team division relevant again. A few months back, he did something similar by introducing the World title for the RAW brand.
It is worth noting that WWE has Survivor Series coming up which means stars from SmackDown and RAW face each other. Hence, it will be a good time for Triple H to split the titles.

2. WarGames or traditional Survivor series: Survivor Series is on the way and looking at the records, Triple H will have to make a decision. Last year, WWE had a major change to the PLE as they held a WarGame main event featuring The Bloodline.
But the traditional Survivor Series 5-v-5 match has been a highlight of the PLE. So, what will Triple H do for the upcoming edition of Survivor Series? Rumours are that after last year’s success, WarGames will feature again.

3. Roman Reigns title match at Crown Jewel: Roman Reigns will return to SmackDown after two months of hiatus. Triple H might confront Reigns for his absence. Especially as he believes that the fans deserve an active Champion on the brand. Thus, putting him in a situation to defend his title at Crown Jewel.

4. Jade Cargill’s appearance: Former AEW superstar Jade Cargill made headlines after signing with WWE. She made her first appearance last week at the Fastlane PLE, where she was greeted by Triple H. It was followed by her appearance at NXT, where she was welcomed by Shawn Michaels. Triple H might introduce her to the WWE live crowd this Friday on SmackDown.
