‘It’s Going To Evoke Conversations’: Flaunting His Bizarre ‘Kenmaid’ Look on Cameras, John Cena Claims Barbie Will Create a ‘Fiery Debate’ Among the Audience

John Cena never ceases to amaze anyone. The wrestler-turned-actor has once again taken the entire social media by storm. This time courtesy of his look that has been trending ever since a viral video dropped.  The video highlights Cena’s amusing yet bizarre look wherein he talks about his upcoming movie Barbie.

What did John Cena say?

The global superstar in the BTS promotional video, sports a ‘Kenmaid’ wig and shell necklace, and talks about how Barbie has the power to invoke a fiery debate among fans worldwide.

The 46-year-old spoke about the concept of the movie and said,“I was blown away with the concept. I think it’s going to be a movie that all audiences enjoy. I think it’s going to be a movie that evokes conversation.”

In the same video, the leader of Cenation was quoted saying, “And I think it’s going to be beautifully visually appealing. I think the audience will walk away with a mixed bag of opinions which I think is the greatest form of entertainment,”

He concluded by commenting about how he feels this movie might arouse people to have “a fiery debate about something. I think that’s good.” 

Cena plays one of the Kens in Barbie Land, in a pink paradise setting as the theme of the movie.

Interestingly, the star was shooting for Fast X in a parallel street to the Barbie production location. Margot Robbie, who had bumped into Cena at a restaurant asked Cena if he’d like to play a merman in the movie after the latter had taken care of her bill, which led to Cena agreeing to play a part. 

All-rounder in every sense

John Cena has repeatedly shown his versatility in his movies and also in his professional career. Hailed as one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time, the 16-time World Champion is slowly cementing his place and legacy in Hollywood as well.

Cena has shown incredible range with varied work and has starred in both niche and mainstream movies. He has shown his acting chops in movies like BumbleBee, and Suicide Squad, and has elevated his status to new heights with movies like F9, Fast X, and now Barbie.

While one will have to wait to see if Barbie evokes debate among fans, the stunning BTS makeover of John Cena will do the same.
