Wrestlers often come out dead scary on the big screen and sometimes they truly are in their real life too. Jake the Snake Roberts, with a huge python in his hand, was among the most terrifying wrestlers who could frighten anyone with just a single sight of his popular gimmick. But it seems like the bizarre wrestler also has someone in his mind scarier than him and it’s none other than one-half of the wild Samoans, and the father of the Tribal Chief, Sika.

Fans are familiar with the toughness and mettle of one of the most dangerous tag teams of all time, Wild Samoans. The indispensable part of the Anoai family, Sika, didn’t only dominate in the ring, rather he was unbelievably dominant outside the ring too. Speaking on a recent episode of The Snake Pit, Jake Roberts recalled a bizarre incident of Sika beating up a fan and ending up receiving a nasty injury.

Detailing the brutal incident, Roberts noted, ”It was terrifying man. In fact, there was an incident where, oh, gosh, this is too much. All the wrestlers were staying at a hotel in Baton Rouge. And they were all out and getting sun, and Sika was laying down out there and he just having a nice afternoon in the sun drinking a few beers, you know and not bother nobody, and then some drunk comes out the pool and starts talking sh*t. And Sika wound up jumping up out of his lounge chair and chasing the guy down the street.”

Reflecting on how Sika ended up injuring himself in order to punish the fan, he further added, “First he reached up and backhanded the guy. You know, just give him a big backhand. And when he did, blood went everywhere. Yeah, the guy’s face was just opened up. So the guy took off running, and Sika’s chasing him on asphalt and glass running down the side of the highway screaming at the guy.”

However, after close examination, the drunken stranger’s tooth was found in Sika’s possession as a result of that intense backhand strike. Medical personnel took it out after 4 days.

Sika never held a top elite title in his career. Fans remember fondly the legendary wrestler because of his run alongside his brother, Afa as a part of the legendary Wild Samoans and won several tag team titles during their tenure. They also got inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007.

After his brother retired from pro wrestling, Sika enjoyed an average-level 2-year run before leaving WWE in 1988. In 2000, he formed his own wrestling promotion, XW 2000.

On the other hand, his son has smoothly outstripped his success, holding the most coveted Undisputed Universal WWE Championship title for 948-plus days.
