Rhea Ripley has been a dominant force in WWE lately. She was recently announced as the number one female among the top 250 female wrestlers in the industry. It is pretty evident that she hates to lose, which is why nobody has yet defeated her for the Women’s World Championship.

Speaking of which, one time she lost to her arch-rival Charlotte Flair, and she was very upset about it. No, we are not talking about her face-off with Flair inside the squared circle in a WWE show. This incident is from when the two superstars battled each other in the WWE 2k23 video game.

Rhea Ripley was mad at herself for losing to Charlotte Flair

‘Mami’ recently had an interview with Allan & Carly, where the interviewers caught up with her on different topics. During the interview, Ripley revealed that before facing Flair at WrestleMania 39, she faced her in the WWE 2k23 arena. Unfortunately, she lost, and it made her very disappointed.

She said, “It hit me right in the feelings, man. But it was pretty cool. Being a part of a video game was just something that I never really imagined. I never thought I would be able to be a part of a video game. I never thought I would have trading cards, action figures, any of that. So seeing all of it, it’s just…it’s mindboggling.”

Losing to Flair in 2k23 just before the WrestleMania 39 match ruined her mood. She stated she was playing a knockout tag team tournament with Austin Theory. And it was in the finals of the tournament that Flair pinned her. Though she was furious at herself, she also enjoyed playing the game quite a lot.

In addition, she also mentioned that she was using her own character in the game. Have you played Ripley’s character in the 2k23 game? Ripley is not the only one who has expressed her unpleasant memories while playing the latest game. The wrestling legion had expressed their discontent with the game and in particular did not take a liking to Ripley’s character attributes.

Wrestling fans disgruntled with Ripley’s character score in 2k23

Earlier this year, when WWE launched its 2k23 game, people were eager to find out what Rhea Ripley’s character score was. To many fans’ disappointment, she was given a much lower rating than the WWE Universe had expected. Given Ripley’s stature in WWE, fans believed she deserved to be in the 90s range.

However, WWE assigned her 87 points, which was one number more than what she was assigned last year. In 2k22, the Stamford-based promotion had given her character 86 points. But within just one year, she has come a long way. This is why her fans felt offended when the scores were released online.
