The Latino World Order has been going through a rough time lately on SmackDown. After losing his WWE United States Championship to Logan Paul at Crown Jewel 2023, the team lost Santos Escobar, who left the faction after he turned heel. However, despite all the issues with the group, one member decided to have some fun pranking Dominik Mysterio.

Dominik Mysterio turned on his father, Rey Mysterio, before joining Judgment Day, and since then, the father-son animosity has lived on.

Zelena Vega prank calls Dominik Mysterio

Zelena Vega has gained quite an excellent reputation on Twitch with her streams and cosplays. In a recent stream, she decided to prank call Dominik Mysterio live. She pretended to be a young child ordering food after Mysterio answered the call. Equipped with an incredible impression of a young child’s voice, she had Mysterio fooled as she placed her order.

During the conversation, Vega, as a child, claims that the mom is driving and if Mysterio wants to date her. Despite being in a relationship both on screen and in real life, Mysterio said, “Is your mom hot?” Vega also made a joke about Mysterio’s love for Chicken Tenders.

It has been a running joke that Dominik only eats Chicken Tenders, which Vega was referencing. She also made a joke that “People who eat Chicken Tenders have tiny PPs.” The chat during the call went crazy, and even Vega could not control her laugh. This was a very fun call from Vega to Dominik, which may get used in the storyline moving forward.

The current state of the LWO

Things have not been going great for the LWO. After a massive win at Fastlane 2023 against the Street Profits with the help of a returning Carlito, things have gone downhill. The team suffered a major loss at Crown Jewel 2023 when Rey Mysterio lost the WWE United States Championship to Logan Paul. This was followed by Santos Escobar betraying the team.

The build-up for Escobar’s heel turn has been implied by the WWE since Carlito returned. Finding that Carlitio is being favoured more by Rey, Escobar’s hatred grew. During the match on SmackDown, Escobar hesitated to help out his fellow teammate when he was being beaten down. After saving Carlito, Rey confronted Escobar which resulted in the heel turn. Only time will tell where the WWE will take this storyline.
