After making his debut along with his twin brother, Jimmy Uso, and cousin, Tamina Snuka, The Usos have quickly climbed the ranks. They also happened to be a part of SmackDown where they were a part of The Bloodline stable, headed by their cousin brother Roman Reigns. However, after some clashes and a betrayal, Jey Uso decided to leave the stable and made his debut at RAW.

While fans might think that Main Event Uso has a thing for Mami, things are not exactly what they look like. Uso was born on August 22, 1985, in San Francisco, California. In ninth grade, Jey Uso moved to Escambia High School in Pensacola, where he met his childhood sweetheart, Takecia Travis. Hailing from Pensacola, she quickly grew close to the 38-year-old star and they fell in love. Their bond transitioned with them as they moved from high school to the University of West Alabama.

Uso was part of the university’s football team, whereas there are no reports about Travis’s university. As years went on, their bond kept on getting stronger. They decided to tie the knot in 2015, five years after Jey Uso’s debut at WWE. Following their wedding, the couple moved to Georgia. They have two kids together, Jaciyah and Jeyce Fatu.

Travis’s contribution to Jey Uso’s career

Even though he rarely mentions his wife and kids, he makes sure that the world can see how much he appreciates Travis’ efforts. In an interview, he had openly credited his wife for being a massive supporter of his. He had said, “She gets me ready for this, every single week, and she has for the past 10 years,” highlighting her massive impact on his career.

Travis has always been a homemaker. While Uso found his calling in the wrestling ring, just like his father, Travis found hers in the confines of their home. There she is comfortable taking care of their kids and their home while Uso can focus on his career. After making his return to WWE under the RAW brand thanks to Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso has been garnering popularity and is on the rise.
