Tonight’s SmackDown promises to be an exciting affair. A meeting between Roman Reigns and LA Knight has fans waiting in anticipation for a landmark show of the blue brand. Jey Uso could also confront his brother Jimmy Uso after he cost them their tag titles on RAW. But the icing on the cake for tonight’s SmackDown is a title match between Charlotte Flair and Iyo Sky.

The Queen has been trying her best to get a historic 15th world championship and it seems like tonight might just be the night.

Iyo Sky will be defending her WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair

Last week, Triple H made a special appearance on the season premiere of SmackDown. As if that wasn’t big news already, he went on to announce the new GM for SmackDown. Nick Aldis has been with various wrestling promotions since 2008. But he finally joined the WWE as a backstage producer. And within just a few months, the upper echelons of WWE promoted him to GM of SmackDown.

Right from the get-go, fans have taken a liking to Aldis as he put Dominik Mysterio in his place by saying that he was a fan of his father. This infuriated ‘Dirty’ Dom a lot but made Aldis an immediate favorite of the SmackDown fans. To add to their happiness, he met up with The Queen backstage. And without wasting any time, he cut right to the chase and set up a title match between Charlotte Flair and Iyo Sky for tonight’s SmackDown.

But immediately after that announcement, Jade Cargill confronted Flair. And after being introduced by Triple H, Flair threw some shade at Cargill and walked off. It will be interesting to see how Cargill reacts to this insult. Will she interfere during Flair’s title match tonight and cost her the title? That’s an answer the WWE Universe will have to wait to see unravel. On the other hand, Cargill also started a mini-feud with Bayley of Damage CTRL with her bittersweet reply to her welcome. So we will only have to wait and watch to see which side Cargill takes in tonight’s championship bout.

In addition to the title match, SmackDown is upping the ante as Logan Paul is set to further his aspiration for winning the title.

Logan Paul will confront Rey Mysterio after challenging him for the United States Championship

Last week Logan Paul beat Dillon Danis via disqualification in the sixth and final round of their exhibition boxing match. Post that, he wasted no time in letting the world know who his next target was.

Immediately after his win, Paul openly challenged Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship. Rey also was quick to accept Paul’s challenge.

While appearing on The MMA Hour, Mysterio said that he was looking to shut Paul up. We will just have to tune into SmackDown tonight to see how this all unfolds. But what do you guys think will be the outcome of the title match between Iyo Sky and Charlotte Flair?
