Over the years, WWE has witnessed several superstars entering the company and turning into all-time greats, courtesy of Vince McMahon. However, several rising and potential superstars also missed out on the chances of joining WWE and turning their careers around.

Recently during an interview, a veteran pro wrestler revealed his reasons for not joining WWE. Homicide recently revealed during one of his interviews, why he never entered WWE and made his career there. He would claim that although he had contacts there, and knew people, it was because of one reason that he might have missed his chance.

During the interview, when the host asked this question, he would give out a logical answer. And explain everything to his fans. Homicide claimed that his name was too graphic for national television. And it might have been the reason they never signed him.

What did Homicide reveal about WWE and Vince McMahon not signing him?

Vince McMahon is one of the greatest minds in wrestling. And over the years, he has often been credited for turning the promotion into an international giant. Often his business decisions have turned fruitful and provided him with the desired results.

He is also infamous for changing popular gimmicks and names of superstars, Homicide feared that even his name and character would have been changed, if he ever joined WWE. Although he showed his readiness to change his name, he still was hesitant about it.

The 46-year-old claimed, “I really don’t know why. It could be the name, ‘Homicide’ it’s too graphic. I tell people I got no problem in changing my name.” He also expressed his disappointment when he claimed that throughout his career he never even had a trial match in WWE as well.

Despite not joining WWE, Homicide had a successful run in Impact Wrestling as part of the LAX faction, where he won the tag team titles on multiple occasions. He also made a name for himself on the independents and is nearing 30 years in the business.

The 46-year-old still has a few good years left ahead of him, and fans hope that WWE might take notice of him since Vince McMahon is no longer the creative head, and sign him.
