Indi Hartwell, the 26-year-old WWE superstar recently got drafted to the Monday Night Raw. Four years after wrestling in WWE’s development territory (NXT), the Australian professional wrestler finally got a chance to be a part of the main roster. Whenever NXT stars enter the main rosters, they get a subtle push from the WWE. However, in Hartwell’s case, it seems a little difficult as currently she is dealing with an injury.

When she got drafted to the Raw, fans were expecting her to see in the action soon. But her recent update on the injury says otherwise.

Indi Hartwell shares an update on her injury

Recently, Indi Hartwell came online and uploaded a story on her official Instagram account showing her injury. She also gave an update on her injury. In the picture, a bruise on the bottom of her foot could be easily seen, which indicates the 26-year-old superstar is still not fit to compete inside the ring.

Hartwell got injured while defending her NXT Women’s title against Roxanne Perez and Tiffany Stratton on April 24 at NXT Spring Breakin’. And because of the injury, she had to relinquish her championship next week ending her reign at 31 days.

Hartwell’s injury was quite shocking for the WWE Universe. At first, the fans didn’t even know that the star got injured during the championship match as she seamlessly finished the match. And when a week after that, she appeared on NXT with a crutch; the crowd was left jaw-dropped.

How did Hartwell get injured?

During her match at NXT Spring Breakin’, the WWE superstar was supposed to sell a top-rope attack by Tiffany Stratton. But unfortunately, Indi Hartwell didn’t adjust herself to the move and got injured

Despite that, she continued the match and defended her NXT Women’s championship as stipulated. However, the injury was not minor, and she eventually had to say goodbye to her title a week later.

Harwell had an accomplished career in NXT. She claimed the NXT Women’s title as well as the women’s tag team title during her run. Even though currently she is away from the ring, fans are expecting her to see in some big matches near future on the main roster.
