The Money in the Bank PLE saw The Usos raze down Roman Reigns’ empire. The Bloodline saga is undeniably one of the most riveting storylines in WWE. Fans would agree that watching Roman Reigns’ Bloodline come crashing down is no different from watching a slow-burn movie. 

Although all characters in the Bloodline rigamarole have equally contributed to this splendid story, the brilliance of Reigns remains unparalleled. After watching his reaction to his defeat, it will convince you that a call-up from Hollywood is coming soon.

At the rate Roman Reigns’ momentum soared, it seemed as though it was near impossible to pin the Tribal Chief. He had The Bloodline protecting him every step of the way. But, The Usos’ rise against tyranny saw the Bloodline go up in flames. Reigns went three years without getting pinned. After vanquishing stars like Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, John Cena, Edge, and others, the champion came full circle with The Bloodline’s turncoat, Jey Uso.

Jey is no stranger to suffering an embarrassing defeat at the hands of Roman Reigns. However, at Money in the Bank, Jey Uso finally got his revenge on the Head of the Table. One of the high points of the match saw Jey Uso kicking out of the pin by delivering a low blow to The Tribal Chief. 

Reigns and Solo did not let up until the latter was taken out, leaving Roman Reigns all by himself. In the end, it took multiple super kicks and a frog splash to do the unthinkable, beating Roman Reigns clean.

After the match, fans were satisfied to see The Tribal Chief break down at ringside. Reigns’ expression changed from a look of astonishment to rage.

Although losing via pinfall was a big deal for Roman Reigns, he is still the supreme champion of the WWE. And come hell or high water, Reigns will fight to keep his titles on the Island of Relevancy. Furthermore, his stunning performance after the match had the WWE Universe enjoying the outcome. Here are a few reactions on Twitter. 

Indeed, Reigns has established himself as one of the most egomaniacal villains in WWE. We will have to wait and see how his story proceeds.

Even though The Bloodline is seemingly finished, the business will pick up when a furious Reigns decides to break his silence on SmackDown.

At this point, Solo Sikoa is the only linchpin to The Bloodline. Yet, he and Paul Heyman may have to bear the brunt of Reigns’ wrath going forward.

All in all, his brilliant post-match performance left nothing to be desired. It remains to be seen how Reigns deals with his loss on SmackDown.
