LA Knight proved he’s the last one to let any criticism slide all over him without any resistance. Knight’s in-ring persona and his commendable mic skills are a few things everybody is aware of. But Knight unleashing his upfront nature to shock his critiques is a whole new layer of him for fans to experience.

Twitter is currently buzzing with the latest gossip over former WWE superstar Kevin Nash’s harsh comments on LA Knight. According to the two-time Hall of Famer, Knight doesn’t possess any originality, rather, he imitated The Rock’s style to get himself over. While the SmackDown star’s inclination toward one of the all-time best in the business isn’t wrong, it’s not how Nash framed it either.

If you feel confused about the aforementioned contradiction, LA Knight himself is there to save you. He gave a brief interview with BT Sport ahead of his highly hyped-up Money in The Bank appearance. Although he couldn’t get his hand on the briefcase, he was the one who got the fans’ back, even after the loss, and that matters a lot.

The promising superstar has seen a massive rise in his career graph in the company over the last few months. That said, he didn’t lose the respect for his childhood heroes like Dwayne Johnson, and Stone Cold Steve Austin, who were the sole reason for him to come to the wrestling scene.

The 40-year-old was asked to give his thoughts on the recent not-so-graceful comparison between him and The Rock drawn by Nash and other critics. Knight noted it’s not a new thing in the industry. Whenever any new entity pops up, people turn desperate to compare him with any past superstar. So, he’s least bothered about what Nash had to say. The recent fan favorite shrugged off the comparison, ascertaining his dominance, ”I am me I’m me I am the one I am the only I am LA Knight .!”

Explaining where his unconscious resemblance to The Rock, Steve Austin, has its roots, Knight continued, ”When I was in high school, those guys (The Rock and Stone Cold) were my bread and butter. Those are the guys I wanted to be when I was 16, 17 years old. My normal speech pattern every day when I’m talking to you is probably somehow derived from them, whatever that’s purposeful or not, and it’s definitely not.”

Triple H hinted toward a brighter future for LA Knight

MITB PLE was an eventful event WWE pulled off last weekend. Especially the men’s ladder match was entirely entertaining with an insane finish. Fans mostly got behind Knight during and before the match, as he was the clear favorite to grab the briefcase. However, it didn’t happen. The Judgement Day member, Damien Priest, survived through a rock-hard resistance of seven men and managed to walk away with the prize.
