“I’m Just a Cranky Old Man”: Despite Having No Bad Intentions, Seth Rollins’ Brutally Honest Confession on Logan Paul Could Draw Heavy Backlash on Social Media

Current World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is one of the most popular names on the current roster. Rollins shot to fame on the roster ever since he became the inaugural WWE NXT Champion. With his exceptional wrestling abilities and mic skills, ‘The Visionary’ shot to the top.

Although Rollins is well acquainted with the world of pro wrestling, he recently, confessed his lack of knowledge about two new WWE superstars Logan Paul and Bad Bunny, which could lead to a major backlash against him.

What did Seth Rollins claim while speaking about Logan Paul and Bad Bunny prior to their career in WWE?

At WrestleMania 39, Rollins battled Paul and secured a victory against him. Rollins began his rivalry with The Maverick at Royal Rumble 2023 when he was eliminated by Logan Paul, and later also cost him the US Title at Elimination Chamber.

Speaking to Ryan Satin, Seth Rollins confessed how he did not know of the existence of Logan Paul, Bad Bunny, or KSI. All three mentioned names are extremely popular amongst the young generation, and Rollins’ statement could lead to major backlash against him.

The 37-year-old said, “So, Logan Paul and Bad Bunny are two total reasons I know, I am not hip. I ain’t with it no more. I have no idea who these people were before they came to WWE. And KSI, same thing. I am too old man. Too old. I am not cool anymore.” Despite not having bad intentions, Rollins buried Logan Paul alongside the two others with his brutally honest confessions.

As KSI made his way to WrestleMania, Rollins claimed of not having any idea about him as well. He said, “When he took his little face mask off in that Prime bottle, the whole arena knew who he was. We got a nice close-up on his face. Kudos to our production team and our cameraman. Everybody popped, they all knew who he was. And I was like, ‘Well, there’s another one. I am just a cranky old man.”

Although Rollins claimed not to have any idea about them, he praised their performances. He would heap praises on boxer and internet sensation KSI for his WrestleMania moment. As Rollins spoke, it further came to light, how he likes to stay put from the world of social media, and prefers much traditional methods of entertainment and news.

As the interview with Ryan Satin progressed, Rollins also opened up on his thoughts on the new social media app, Threads. He claimed that his wife compelled him to join the app, whereas he had no intentions of doing it.

Rollins further said that he is very close to quitting all social media applications. Instead, he opened up on his thoughts of choosing to read a newspaper much like bodybuilding icon Arnold Schwarzenegger rather than spending time in the virtual world.
