WWE has quite an enormous fanbase spread across the globe. Celebrities make up a sizeable chunk of the fanbase in the WWE Universe. They love to watch the Stamford-based promotion shows because of their intriguing storylines and exceptionally talented stars who do their best to give the audience their money’s worth.

That being said, actress and dancer, Jenna Dewan once confessed her love for pro wrestling in front of John Cena and the fans. She also revealed how she got so interested in the sport.

On the 19 April 2019 edition of The Ellen Show, Cena appeared as the show host to fill in for Ellen DeGeneres. The special guest for the day was Jenna Dewan. During a segment of the show, ‘The Champ’ said,I recently heard that you have become a WWE fan.” “Yes, I know all about you,” the $40 Million worth Hollywood actress replied.

She added, “So, Steve, my boyfriend is a huge wrestling fan, and he got me like so into it, so much that I watched WrestleMania by myself. Like, he wasn’t even in town and I watched WrestleMania. Because I had to know if Becky Lynch was going to beat Ronda Rousey. I was sitting there texting [Steve] like, ‘Do you know what’s happening?’ I had to know, I was hooked!

She confessed she couldn’t resist watching Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 35. Well, the match was one of a kind that went down in history. So obviously, it had a special appeal to it.

At WrestleMania 35 main event, Lynch took on Raw Women’s Champion Rousey and SmackDown Women’s Champion Flair. The match was a Winner Takes All triple threat match with the stipulation that the winner of the match would take home both the Raw and SmackDown Championship.

After a hard-fought battle, ‘The Man’ won the match by pinning Rousey. Thus writing her name in history books as the first woman to win a WrestleMania main event. The Stamford-based promotion took women’s evolution took to a whole new level that day.
