The sixth installment of the Rocky series i.e. Rocky Balboa is a comeback story. Hence, the monologues highly inspired The Rated R Superstar a couple of years ago.

In the recent episode on Impaulsive with Logan Paul and Mike Miljak, Edge shared how he resonated with Rocky Balboa films. He shared this happening to him a couple of days before returning to the 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble.
The WWE Hall of Famer said, “But I feel like this run is like Rocky Balboa movie. I watched two nights before my comeback and I was in tears because Stallone’s monologues in it were all things that were going in my mind.”
The 11-time world champion added, “I realized I got to get it out of the basement because I didn’t had the chance to end it the way I wanted to. This time I gonna get to do that.”
Edge also stated about not being around in WWE for a long time. As per the 49-year-old WWE legend, if he’ll be around for long, fans will just cheer for him as a courtesy.

The former Brood member shared currently he is excited to go out and have a match. Moreover, he would never want to lose this feeling but had to retire someday.
Edge tells when he will retire
The first time the WWE Hall of Famer never got to retire on his own terms. However, in his current run he plans to retire on his own terms now. Moreover, he shared how many years he has left in his career now.

Edge said, “At most, I might have another year in me to be still able to do at an elite level where I can still hang on. I gotta get in with Austin Theory who is 25. He wasn’t born when I had my first match for WWE.”
Apart from wrestling, The Rated R Superstar’s current priority is his wife and daughters. He shared he wants to be healthy to be there for his two daughters as he had them late in his life.
