“I Was Arrested For….”: 36 Years Later, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Leaves Fans Shocked With A Troubling Confession

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has amassed quite a fortune for himself. He is one of the most successful celebrities in the whole wide world, but his road to success was not an easy one. He had his fair share of struggles in his life.

At a very young age, when a normal teenager goes to school and plays with his friends, Johnson had to struggle to make ends meet. He was young and broke, and that led him to indulge in some illegal activities that even got him arrested a couple of times.

Speaking of which, he recently made a troubling confession about his childhood. 

Dwayne Johnson was an angry teenager

Recently, a Twitter user with the name FLASHBACK shared Johnson’s old photo from 1987 when he was 15 years old. Taking to his Twitter account, ‘The Great One’ reacted to it. He stated he was an angry teenage boy when he was 15 years old. He also mentioned that the picture shared on the post was taken two weeks prior to his arrest.

The police had arrested him for theft after they chased him through Ala Moana Mall in Honolulu on foot. In addition, he also mentioned that one week after the incident, he was evicted from Hawaii. This is not the first time ‘The Brahma Bull’ has opened up about his childhood struggles on social media.

Johnson’s football coach helped him to turn his life around

The wrestler-turned-actor has been very vocal about his troubling past. On many occasions, he has talked about the difficulties he faced in his teenage years. As mentioned earlier, he came from a poor family, therefore he had to opt for illegal means to earn money.

DJ has admitted to being a spoiled kid with all kinds of bad habits that got him in serious trouble many times. But thanks to his football coach, he turned his life around. During a 2022 interview, he narrated a story of how he met a teacher at his new school in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, who helped him to become a better person in life. 

Johnson – being a brat – insulted the football coach of his school team once when he was young. But later, he felt guilty for his actions. Therefore, he decided to apologize to him. When he did so, the teacher gave him a proposal to join the high school football team as an act of apology.

He wanted to make up for inappropriate behavior. Therefore, without even a second thought, he said yes to the proposal. This helped him to channel all his negative energy and direct it toward the sport. It ultimately led him to leave his past behind and now 36 years later, he is at the top of the world.
