Former IC Champion Ryback is among the top critics who do not shy away from going against the former chairman of WWE.

Recently, he made headlines when he expressed his desire to marry McMahon’s wife, Linda, just to rile him up. Now he has added a new layer to his criticism by stating that his life was at risk in the WWE.

Ryback took to Twitter on 13th August to remind everyone of his side of the story. He tweeted: “Reminder of the truth. I walked away from WWE in 2016 on a multimillion-dollar deal, to save my health and life. I tried multiple times to express to them something serious was going on with my back and shoulder, and I had to just get out if I was going to figure it out.

He states that he walked out of WWE due to injury concerns despite being offered a multi-million dollar deal. The issues were related to his back and shoulder, which WWE was not interested in letting him attend to.

He further explained how Vince used his power to defame and control Ryback. He said, “They immediately sent a letter demanding I hand over all my social media accounts with an NDA in 2016 when I wasn’t going to re-sign with the company. They were denied, and immediately had me silenced and suppressed. They then began pumping out fake articles to turn the wrestling fan base against me while minimizing and trying to discredit my voice and brand.
