In a recent interview, Nash expressed his disapproval of LA Knight’s wrestling persona, stating that Knight fails to bring anything new or original to the ring. Nash said Knight is a watered-down version of The Rock and Stone Cold.  Kevin Nash continued by saying that the first time he saw the figure, he mistook it for a rib.

Unsurprisingly, Nash’s remarks sparked a wave of strong reactions from fans. Many used social media to voice their disagreement, defending LA Knight’s talent and potential. Supporters of Knight do argue that he brings a fresh, charismatic presence to the WWE and should be given the opportunity to forge his path.

However, Nash replied on his podcast Kliq This–  He said, “I didn’t say he couldn’t work; I’ve never seen him in the ring. I didn’t say he couldn’t throw a punch; I just said it wasn’t very original.” I get back, um, like, I look at my Twitter feed just to see, you know. It became was just also negative, so all I do is it’s just this simple you’re on my Twitter feed, and you’re giving me s**t I just block you.

LA Knight has been getting quite a good response from the live crowd. He was hugely over with live audience during the Money in The Bank ladder match at the O2 Arena in London.
