“I Have to Kiss The Rock” – Trish Stratus Reveals Her Husband’s Unexpected Reaction Over an Intimate Segment With Dwayne Johnson in WWE

For many WWE superstars or wrestlers, it is difficult to maintain their relationships due to a hectic schedule. Several relationships of the wrestling stars have been severed because of this schedule or some storylines. However, that wasn’t the case with Trish Stratus and her husband, Ron Fisico. Once she shared how her husband reacted to her kissing Dwayne Johnson in a WWE segment during her time on the roster.

As per Stratus, her husband is a huge fan of professional wrestling since a young age. Moreover, she was shocked by Fisico’s reaction when she told him about her intimate scene with The Rock

On the December 2001 episode of RAW, ‘The Great One’ and Trish Stratus kissed in a backstage segment. The company was going forward in the direction of having an on-screen relationship between Johnson and Stratus in 2001. 

Surprisingly, when Stratus shared the details of this segment with her husband Ron Fisico she got a reaction she never thought. The seven-time Women’s Champion’s husband, who was her boyfriend then, was on the same page. She shared his reaction last year on Sessions with Renee Paquette.

Stratus said, “He gets the business. I’d go, ‘I have to kiss The Rock tonight.’ He’s like ‘cool. That’s going to be great for your character.’ Amazing right? As opposed to what may be another husband might say.”

Usually, we have heard of women being behind a man’s success. However, in the case of Stratus, her husband was a strong pillar while she pursued her WWE career. She had a great career that elevated the women’s division during her run.

Trish Stratus shares where she met Ron Fisico

The WWE legend and Fisico are ‘high school sweethearts’ as Stratus mentioned while talking about their relationship. In the same interview with Renee Paquette, the 2013 WWE Hall of Famer shared how she met her husband. 

They knew each other since childhood as Fisico was a close friend of her cousin. Furthermore, sometime later, Fisico moved to her school and they become best friends. Over the years, their relationship grew and became stronger. 

The couple got married after Stratus retired from WWE in 2006. They have two children together, a son born in 2013 and a daughter born in 2017. Stratus and Fisico have been married for 17 years but know each other for nearly 30 years.
