Being a part of pro wrestling comes with its fair share of troubles. The one that tops the list is the number of injuries sustained by these stars. One notable star who is famous for his list of injuries is The Undertaker. However, in a recent appearance on a podcast, Adam Copeland aka Edge shared the number of injuries that he had suffered throughout his career, which is almost at par with The Deadman.
Edge notably had to retire in 2011 due to a neck injury while he was the World Heavyweight Champion and returned to the ring in 2020 at the Royal Rumble.

In a recent episode of Brotherly Love Podcast, Copeland was present as a guest. He was discussing the infamous neck surgeries that he had in the past. As the conversation went on one of the hosts complimented Copeland that he still moves pretty well, to which the R-rated Superstar started to count a list of injuries that he had throughout his career.
He said, “If you point to a part on my body I’ve done something too like I got no labrum here I got half a pack. So I got a divot there. I tore this triceps. This wrist(right hand) is fused I can’t bend it. Metal rods in my teeth, fractured skull, ruptured groin, tore my Achilles I don’t have MCLs in my knees”. This list left the hosts in shock. One host was not able to believe the fact that Copeland will be turning 50 this year.
Copeland talked about his secret as to how he can move so efficiently even at this age. “You know what? I just keep moving when I got a gym built in the house so I have no excuse it keeps me accountable”. He further added “I got to be here for my girls” implying the fact that his daughters have been a major source of motivation for him.

Adam Copeland has suffered multiple injuries throughout his run as Edge on WWE. But nothing compares to the infamous injury he had which made him quit pro wrestling at a time when he was at the top of his game.
Edge and his career-ending injury
Back in 2003, Edge had a name for himself as a specialist in ladder matches. But little did he know that this forte of his would turn out to be his bane. In a No Disqualification match against Eddie Guerrero, Copeland was body slammed on a ladder and then was frog-splashed while he was still on the ladder.

This same injury came back to haunt him in 2011 when this injury aggravated forcing him to retire again for almost nine years and then he made his comeback in 2020.

The way Copeland discussed his injuries sure felt like he is nothing but proud of who he is today. He has been through a lot of personal hell to entertain the fans and now gets to go out on his terms when he wants to.
