Trish Stratus teamed up with Becky Lynch and Lita to take on the three-member tag team comprising Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky at WrestleMania 39. Stratus and her team went over Damage CTRL. However, the 47-year-old has revealed a shocking detail in the buildup to that match at SoFi Stadium on April 1. Stratus, who recently turned heel and attacked The Man, said she faced an obstacle that “nobody knew about”.

“When I got there, it was like ‘Can I still do this? I don’t know’. I had a few obstacles. I had a partially torn hamstring, by the way, and nobody knew about that,” she said.

The injury admittedly kept the 47-year-old from following her pre-match conditioning. She said it limited her training. “I’m usually in there the minute I find out there’s a match. I’m in there every day. I put my kids to bed and I’m out there till midnight. This is what I do. And this time I had this injury, and I was a little unsure going in,” Stratus said.

However, the former WWE Women’s Champion said she was happy with the outcome and felt energized as she walked through the curtains on match day.
