Wrestling is a business with cutthroat competition. Not just among rival wrestling promotions, but among wrestlers within the promotion as well. And for that, they work very hard on their in-ring skills and also mic skills which when combined together make for one entertaining package. But there are some wrestlers who have to work extra hard to get those desired opportunities. Recently ‘The American Nightmare’ revealed that it was his exit from the WWE that brought many opportunities to his plate when he returned from AEW.
And it doesn’t seem like he will be leaving the WWE anytime soon as he is pleased with the way things are going for him.

Cody Rhodes returned to the WWE in 2022 and he has already been part of 2 Wrestlemanias. One was the main event at Wrestlemania 39 where he faced Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. He didn’t emerge as the winner that night but he hopes to receive that opportunity once again.
In a recent interview with GQ Sports, he talked about the difficulties in securing a match at WrestleMania. When asked if the WWE was his forever home, he replied, “I’d say that after having been in the main event of a WrestleMania, knowing how difficult it is to get that match, I don’t really see anything beyond it right now. That doesn’t mean there isn’t something beyond, but I just don’t see anything beyond. They have done everything they possibly can to reward the work that I put in”.
He feels the WWE has provided him with ample opportunity and he is satisfied with how things are currently going for him in the company. He also feels that post his return from AEW is when the WWE started taking him seriously.
So as you can see, Cody is not going to leave the WWE till he achieves his ‘Holy Grail’ which is to become a WWE Champion. But for now, Rhodes had just one challenge on his mind. In just a few hours he will be facing ‘The Best Incarnate’ at ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer’ SummerSlam.
Cody Rhodes wants to end this feud with Brock Lesnar once and for all
This feud started almost 3 months ago and at ‘Backlash’ Cody Rhodes busted Brock Lesnar wide open and beating him to record the win. Then came ‘Night Of Champions’ where Rhodes left arm was injured, yet he put on a brave fight only to lose to Lesnar. Both these juggernauts are currently tied at 1-1.
The final match that will determine the eventual victor of this vicious feud takes place at SummerSlam in a few hours.

The stage is set at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. 65,000 roaring fans will be waiting to see these two gladiators battle it out and tear the house down in order to prove their dominance in the ring. It will be a tough fight for Rhodes as on the last two occasions when Brock confronted him, it was always a downward spiral for Rhodes. On both occasions, Lesnar ended up laying waste to Rhodes.
