“I Am Waiting”: Rhea Ripley Issues Bold Warning to WWE’s Newest Draw Jade Cargill While Noting Her “Dangerous” Attribute

On September 26th, 2023, WWE announced that Jade Cargill had signed for the prestige wrestling promotion. Since then, the star has been training at the WWE Performance Centre in Orlando. After her recruitment by the Stamford-based promotion, fans have expressed their excitement to see her in the ring. But now it’s not just fans, but a star in particular is excited to see her perform. Rhea Ripley has said that she is eagerly waiting to see what she can bring to the table. But little does she know that the 31-year-old star is on The Eradicator’s watch.

Ripley is keeping an eye on Cargill

Talking with The Sporting News Australia, the interviewer posed a question to Ripley. The interviewer asked Ripley for her thoughts on Jade Cargill, as she now works in the same promotion as her. She said, “I am very excited to see what she brings to the WWE. I really am. Like you said, she is a big name, and a lot of people are watching and waiting for her debut.” She also outlined her thoughts on which brand Cargill would partake in. Ripley further added, “ We don’t know which branch she is going to be on yet, it could be Raw, it could be SmackDown, it could be NXT, no one really knows exactly what’s going on.” But according to Mami, if she decides to make her way to Raw, things might escalate.

“If it is raw, I mean that’s my show. Mami runs Raw. So if Jade wants to come to my brand, then I would love to step into the ring with her and show her exactly why Mami’s always on top.” This was a stern warning to the new star that she would face a lot of resistance if she came to Raw. Since her signing, there have been no updates on Cargill’s role in WWE. Wrestling fans caught a glimpse of her on two occasions. Her first appearance came backstage at WWE Fastlane 2023, where Triple H greeted her. Cargill’s second sighting came at the October 9th episode of NXT where she met with Shawn Micheals.

With that being said, the cornerstone of Judgment Day has sent Jade Cargill a warning. But there is one particular thing about her that Ripley thinks is dangerous.

Rhea Ripley highlights Cargill’s most dangerous trait

Rhea Ripley further explained why she needs to assert her dominance if Cargill makes her way to Raw. She said, “I Have watched bits and pieces of her from her time in the other brand and in the other company and she is fantastic.” She then added, “She believes in herself and she is a star, she believes she is a star which is always the most dangerous thing.” stating her as a tough competitor. “When someone believes in themselves they are very hard to stop”, implying that it will be difficult for the 26-year-old star to take Cargill down.

However, despite the display of such a dominant quality, Ripley reiterated that she would overcome Cargill if the obstacle presented itself in front of her. Ripley said “But I am also Mami. So I am waiting for that day when I get to step in the ring with her”, implying that she is waiting for the day when she gets to prove herself as the boss.

According to her, the most scintillating aspect of the match would be the coming together of two powerhouses who have impressive imposing physiques. “To have someone that’s so physically impressive across the ring for me, it excites me. I love a good challenge and I am waiting for that day. Nevertheless, Jade Cargill’s signing to WWE has invoked excitement amongst fans and her colleagues
