In its history of almost 4 decades, WWE has had numerous heels and faces which have been equally supported by the fans. Heels like ‘Evolution’ and ‘The Ministry Of Darkness’ have had their fair share of fans just as faces like ‘D-Generation X’ and ‘The Shield’ who actually broke out as heels but later turned into faces. Even in the current roster, ‘The Judgement Day’ and ‘The Bloodline’ before their implosion were fan favorites of their respective brands.
Fans have actually started cheering more for heels than faces in recent times. And that’s exactly what was seen on the return of ‘The Street Profits’ and Bobby Lashley to SmackDown.

The Street Profits composed of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins were last seen in action at WrestleMania 39. There they won the men’s WrestleMania showcase fatal four-way tag team match. Post that, they were drafted to SmackDown and were seen in backstage segments with Bobby Lashley giving the fans a hint that a new faction was being formed.
And last night on SmackDown, The Street Profits made a powerful return by interrupting a tag match between ‘The OC’ and ‘The Brawling Brutes’. They appeared out of nowhere, looking all dapper dressed in suits, and first ambushed Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. After laying waste to ‘The OC’, they set their target on Butch from ‘The Brawling Brutes’ and pulverized him in the middle of the ring.
As all this destruction took place, fans kept chanting and cheering for ‘The Street Profits’ approving of their new dapper look and heel status. Post the vicious beatdown, they celebrated the return of their new mentor Bobby Lashley as the crowd kept chanting “Bob-by!” with excitement.
This new look and attitude of ‘The Street Profits’ definitely shocked most of their fans. But going by the reactions, seems like the fans have accepted their brand-new WWE heel.
Fans absolutely love The Street Profits as heels
In their initial run in the WWE, The Street Profits played the good guys winning both the RAW and Smackdown Tag Team Championships. But on their return to Smackdown last night with Bobby Lashley, they clearly have taken on the heel persona.
