One thing that professional wrestling fans love other than phenomenal in-ring action and jaw-dropping promos is when a superstar breaks his character. In WWE, several stars sometimes lose their grip on their in-ring character to show genuine affection towards the fans or other wrestlers.

However, WWE legend The Undertaker never did so during his entire wrestling career. And now after retirement, when he does so, fans cherish it a lot. And the same happened a few hours ago, when the legend dropped his professional barriers. He sent a heartwarming message to his former fellow wrestler on his work anniversary.

Recently, WWE legend The Undertaker came on Twitter and congratulated his WrestleMania 25 opponent Shawn Michaels on his 35th work anniversary.

The Undertaker even praised Shawn Michaels. He said that he is one of the greatest to decorate the squared circle in WWE.

Congratulating Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker wrote, “Throughout my career, if I had to pick one person to share the ring with, without hesitation it would be @ShawnMichaels! He is one of the greatest to ever lace up a pair of wrestling boots! Congrats on 35 years with @WWE, you have earned all the accolades bestowed upon you!”

The accolades, ‘Deadman’ mentioned here include Shawn Michaels being a triple crown champion and two times WWE Hall of Famer. The ‘Heart Break Kid’ and the ‘Deadman’ have faced each other several times. However, their collision at Mania 26 is the most memorable one. WWE Universe even regarded that as one of the best matches in WrestleMania.

In this tweet, The Undertaker clearly mentioned that if he had to choose one person, it would surely be Shawn Michaels. But, if we talk about the superstars from Modern Era, then again, the WWE legend has two stars in mind.
