From crashing matches along with his New World Order buddies to single-handedly beating everyone up, Hogan has done it all. It is obvious that someone as big as Hulk Hogan should use his words wisely. However, keeping them limited to the truth has not been a strong suit of the Hulkster. This time, Hogan’s claims by the co-creator of UFC, Campbell McLaren for claiming to have fought in PRIDE fighters in the 70s and that he was invited by UFC to fight in their first PPV in 1993 were squashed.

A tweet by Bloody Elbow revealed that Hogan’s bluff was exposed by Mclaren because of very simple factual errors. The tweet said, “Hulk Hogan claimed he fought PRIDE Fighters in the 70s, but PRIDE’s first event was in 1997 and UFC’s first PPV was in 1993.”

Moreover, McLaren directly denied ever sending an offer to the Hulkster for UFC 1. While this created a huge wave of shock for many fans, a major chunk of fans knew this was coming.
