Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon are often credited as the two pillars behind WWE’s grand success. The two entities turned WWE from a regional wrestling promotion into an international wrestling giant. The Golden Era of WWE saw McMahon push Hogan to the top.
Recently, during Hogan’s interview with Ariel Helwani, he opened up about how he was shocked at the news of Vince McMahon selling WWE. He claimed that the news came to him as a shocker. And he could not believe how McMahon was able to leave that lifestyle of his.

Vince McMahon has always been a workaholic. During the interview, the 69-year-old Hogan would tell stories of McMahon’s hard work, and how he transformed the business into such a huge deal.
What did Hulk Hogan reveal about Vince McMahon selling WWE?
Earlier this year, WWE was bought by Endeavor for an approximate amount of $21 billion. Although Endeavour holds the majority shares of the company, Vince McMahon is still 18% owner of WWE. Speaking with Helwani, Hogan revealed his thoughts on McMahon selling WWE.

He said, ” I understand the security of it, shocked that he would not be 24/7 involved in the business. I mean that guy never stopped. It is seven days a week.”
Hogan continued, “You know, I was surprised he walked away from that lifestyle. That was him. He loved it.”

Hulk Hogan also relived stories of him and McMahon during his peak days at the company. Vince McMahon is known for his intense workouts and Hogan at times had to bear with that as well.
He said, “I go to Monday night Raw, we have a post-production meeting at 1’o clock in the morning after the show is over. I sneaked back into my hotel, and he’d banging on my door. 2:30-3’o clock in the morning. ‘Come on!.. lets go work out!’ This used to drive me crazy! “
The Hulkster also revealed how McMahon only slept four hours a day and worked the rest 20 hours. At 77 years old Vince McMahon is far away from retiring and is in one of the best shapes of his life and still holds an influence backstage.
