Hulk Hogan has been out of the public eye for quite some time now. The wrestling legend had lower-body surgery a couple of months ago, so he probably needed some rest and recovery. Now appearing in a recent podcast, Hogan revealed several things.
“I wrestled The Rock at 18, Vince at 19, and was part of 20 and 21 WrestleManias, but since then, I’ve kind of backed off,” shared Hogan about when his body started giving up on him.
Hogan further revealed that he initially went to have just one surgery. However, he ended up getting around 26 surgeries performed on him. He then added, “I finally replaced the hips. I got a bullet hole in my shoulder from a couple of bad shoulder surgeries. Abdominal surgeries. A couple of surgeries on my face because I always would leave with my left and get kicked in the face a bunch of times. I had the orbital socket broken a couple of times.”
It is quite unfortunate that Hogan had to face such extreme issues after retirement. However, he now appears to be in a much better state in the podcast. Moreover, the former wrestler also shared that he still works with WWE and was in Saudi Arabia at the Night of Champions.
We can assume that he is talking about some backstage work here. Moreover, he is currently working with Ric Flair on a project related to CBD. As far as his surgeries are concerned, it would remind some of you of another WWE personality.
